Leadership Style that the Group observed

Group Leadership Style

DEMOCRATIC

• DEMOCRATIC is participative leaders encourage group members to participate, but retain the final say over the decision-making process.

EXAMPLE

BLOG DESIGN 

• Every group member are participant in giving blog design opinion.
• Bryan was creating the blog at first, Jia Ling and Jia Xin felt that the design was not so creative and change it straight away.
• After all members checked the design that had changed by them, but Jia Min also found that the design was too messy and changed it again.
• In the end, leader still do the latest decision and all group members accepted. 

LAISSEZ-FAIRE

• LAISSEZ-FAIRE is delegative leaders give little or no guidance to group members.

EXAMPLE

MAKING VIDEO

• Group leader who is Jia Min let the photographer (Bryan) make his own decision on making video and take photo.
• Group leader let every group member write their own blog contain, but the blogger(Jing Ying) and leader still will check for it before uploading.

• When we are doing the interview session, leader who is Jia Min will find out the information such as arrange the contact number of staff that given by Madam Nalini and the question of interview.
• After finding out all the information, leader will allocate the tasks to every group members and discuss the tasks with every members.
• Hence, all the members will follow the instruction that given by Jia Min.
